Gran Couva lies within the Montserrat Hills region of Trinidad. Gran Couva has the ideal soil and climate for cacao tree cultivation and the region has an excellent reputation for producing high quality Trinitario cocoa. Our beans were sourced from the Montserrat Cocoa Farmers Co-operative Society Limited - a 100% farmer owned and run organisation that has achieved Rainforest Alliance certification for its cocoa.

The MCFCSL is a totally farmer-owned-and-run registered Co-operative whose aim is to assist in revitalizing the cocoa industry in Trinidad and Tobago.
