Methanex Trinidad Limited, a subsidiary of Methanex Corporation, is a key player in the global methanol industry. Operating in Trinidad and Tobago, we are part of the world's largest producer and supplier of methanol, with a significant presence in North America, Asia Pacific, Europe, and South America Methanex.

Our operations in Trinidad are vital to Methanex's global portfolio, contributing approximately 50% of the company's total production output. We manage two methanol production facilities: the Titan and Atlas plants, located at the Point Lisas Industrial Estate. These facilities utilize advanced technologies to produce high-quality methanol for various applications, including energy, chemicals, and manufacturing Trinidad Guardian.

At Methanex Trinidad, we are committed to sustainability and innovation. In 2021, we received the Green Agenda Award from the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce, recognizing our efforts in implementing energy efficiency strategies and reducing emissions. Our initiatives, such as the Corporate Utility Management Programme and Off-Gas Piping Project, have led to significant reductions in energy consumption and CO₂ emissions Methanex.

We are also at the forefront of advancing low-carbon solutions. In collaboration with the National Energy Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago, we have conducted feasibility studies on using methanol as an alternative fuel for transportation, aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and support the country's commitment under the Paris Agreement Methanex.
