The Power Generation Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (PowerGen) is a reliable and socially responsible long-term energy partner, committed to a greener, more sustainable T&T.

We are the largest independent power producer in Trinidad and Tobago. Our power plants at Point Lisas and Penal generate a combined 824 megawatts of national capacity and we employ over 300 people, many of them long-serving members of staff. Our commitment to technological transformation is exemplified by the recent Flange to Flange gas turbine upgrades at Penal, as well as our expressed interest in adding renewable energy to the PowerGen assets. Our commitment to the national community is illustrated by the reach of our logo, which flies proudly above the secondary school cricketers whose league we sponsor, the special children’s fun day and the young artists we encourage.
